Job Description: Process and settle Fixed Income trades (government bonds, corporate bonds, repos) via settlement depositaries Ensure accurate and timely matching and settlement of trades in line with market deadlines Monitor settlement status and proactively resolve failed or pending trades, always adhering to escalation matrix to update stakeholders as required Liaise with custodians, clearing agents and counterparties to resolve discrepancies ahead of settlement cut-offs Perform daily cash and securities reconciliations, maintaining strong operational controls to mitigate risk to the Bank Other Strong knowledge of Fixed income products and settlement processes Solid understanding of full settlement cycle, from trade booking through to post-trade processing & reconciliation Experience using the following settlement platforms would be advantageous – Calypso Cash, OMGEO ALERT, Easy way Confident and proactive approach to identifying, escalating, and resolving issues, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability from investigation through to completion.
