Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Lead business operations for Federal Services accounts by coordinating workflows, resolving process issues, and ensuring activities align with client requirements and revenue growth. Own and continuously improve operational processes, develop standard operating procedures, and eliminate efficiency gaps to increase scalability. Provide oversight and quality control to mitigate risks before they impact stakeholders, while offering coaching and training to strengthen team performance. Define operational SLAs tied to revenue outcomes, set annual performance goals, and manage the complete performance review cycle for your assigned team members.
- Provide work direction, coaching, and training to team members while managing operational escalations and handling your own assigned transactions. Oversee essential business operations, including purchase orders, billing audits, accounts payable/receivable support, and account maintenance to ensure compliant and efficient account administration. Partner with key internal stakeholders and corporate support teams to proactively resolve operational issues, report changes, and drive continuous business growth.
- Focus on managing operational reporting, data quality, and performance visibility across key Federal Services systems, including applicant tracking, subcontract analysis, expense management, and billing tools. Compile and analyze operational data, the position identifies risks, trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities for key stakeholders. Owns SkillBridge program operations, driving the hiring and maintenance of pipeline talent for transitioning veterans.
- Operational support to the Federal Services team by managing contractor, employee, and account processes, including onboarding, compliance tracking, and vendor coordination. Collaborate with sales, delivery, recruiting, finance, and contracts to quickly resolve service delivery and account performance issues. Guide team members on business operations procedures and tools while actively recommending workflow improvements to boost efficiency, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder responsiveness.
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Federal Services business operations knowledge sufficient to coordinate account support, operational workflows, transactional requirements, and cross-functional follow-up.
- Business systems and process capability sufficient to work with BH ATS, CRM Systems, VMS Systems, applicant tracking, vendor management, account tracking, billing, procurement, and reporting tools used to support assigned work.
- Data review and reporting capability sufficient to maintain accurate operational records, compile status updates, identify trends or gaps, and support business decision-making
- Operational problem-solving capability sufficient to evaluate workflow issues, resolve routine escalations, coordinate corrective action, and recommend practical process improvements.
- Stakeholder communication capability sufficient to coordinate priorities, deadlines, documentation needs, and issue resolution with sales, delivery, recruiting, finance, contracts, clients, vendors, and shared-services partners.
- Work guidance and planning capability sufficient to support team members on business operations procedures, prioritize competing requests, and reinforce consistent execution standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelor’s degree in business, management, human resources, public administration, operations, accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and related experience. Required
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, sales operations, recruiting operations, staffing, professional services, government services, account administration, billing/accounts receivable support, accounts payable support, VMS administration, operational reporting, or a related operations function, including experience coordinating complex workflows, supporting cross-functional stakeholders, or providing process guidance to others Required
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $80,640 - $120,960. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
Travel Requirements:
- 20% Travel for client, business operations, or team support activities as business needs require.
