Shape Volkswind's international growth story. As part of the Axpo Group, Volkswind drives wind energy development across Europe. Reporting to the CEO, you'll design and drive our market entry strategy, turning new markets into thriving wind project pipelines.
What you will do
Develop and implement our growth strategy in targeted new markets all over Europe.
Define the right market entry approach for each market – whether through recruiting a local Country Manager or, where appropriate, M&A activities.
Lead the integration of newly recruited teams or acquired businesses into the Volkswind organization.
Lead and develop a small, agile team supporting market analysis and expansion activities.
Build robust country business cases that guide our market entry decisions.
Lead the new country site in the early stage, grow the country project pipeline and accompany the team into stable operation.
What you bring & who you are
A university degree with a commercial, legal or technical focus.
Proven multinational business experience, ideally in windfarm development and in expansion or M&A projects.
Strong analytical and hands-on approach, with the ability to dive into the details of new markets – from grid access to planning processes and regulatory frameworks.
Results-driven, decisive and skilled at integrating new teams into a cohesive organization.
Open-minded and curious about new cultural and regulatory environments, acting with integrity, transparency and fairness.
Excellent English communication skills, good German skills and intercultural experience, combined with a strong interest in the renewable energy sector.
