Job Summary

The role of the Team Lead is to support the team by serving as an escalation point, provide continuous training to team members and serve as a back-up resource to the supervisor. Additionally, the Lead will be responsible for specific reporting and special projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily support to functional team and supervisor; including serving as an escalation point for unresolved customer issues for both internal or external customers and troubleshooting problems.

  • Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure seamless functioning of trasanctions operations and acting as the point person in the supervisor’s absence.

  • Maintain routine reports and dashboard; perform other ad-hoc reporting as needed or requested.

  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for the function and provide routine training updates to the team, as needed.

  • Perform regular audits, reconciliations and other quality reviews; provide coaching to team members as needed.

  • Maintain applicable technology, large and/or complex file transfers, any system access, etc as applicable.

CANDIDATE SUMMARY

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience processing corporate finance transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, billing, collections, etc.) required; preferably in a mid-to-large corporate environment.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and applicable rules and regulations

Required Leadership Traits and Characteristics

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain high level of accuracy

  • Ability to handle acquisition related tasks with confidentiality

  • Proactive problem solving skill and ability to manage tasks independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Detail oriented

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

  • High School Diploma OR GED required

  • Accounts Payable certification by an accredited organization preferred
