As the Team Lead for New Business Maritime across South EMEA, you will spearhead Kpler’s expansion into new accounts across Southeast Europe, MEA, and India. Leading a high-performing team of 4 Account Executives, you will drive commercial strategy, refine territory plans, and negotiate high-impact agreements. Your leadership will directly fuel Kpler’s growth by bringing our world-class maritime intelligence platforms to new enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities

Coach, mentor, and elevate a team of 4 Account Executives to consistently exceed new logo acquisition targets across South EMEA and India.

Establish and execute targeted territory strategies that maximize market penetration and generate robust outbound pipeline.

Serve as a key commercial partner, collaborating on demand planning, accurate monthly/quarterly forecasting, and multi-year growth planning.

Lead complex contract negotiations to secure high-value agreements while ensuring alignment with corporate standards and margin goals.

Capture market and competitive intelligence directly from client interactions to inform product roadmaps and strategic sales initiatives.

Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to align go-to-market execution and represent Kpler with authority at industry events.
Experience & Background
What you'll need (Must-haves):

7+ years of commercial sales experience in technology, SaaS, or data vendor environments, with 2+ years of direct people management experience.

Demonstrated track record of driving new logo acquisition and managing complex end-to-end sales cycles.

Proven ability to coach team members, build structured territory plans, and maintain rigorous CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy.

Business fluency in English alongside exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive-level presentation skills.

Direct domain expertise or commercial familiarity within the maritime or commodities intelligence sectors.

Familiarity with modern sales enablement and stack tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
