Team Lead Software Development

Intro

Join our fight against cybercrime and become a crucial part in Software Development at our location in Skopje! This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) we would like to fill as soon as possible.

Your Job

• You lead a software development team of 5-7 employees and create an environment in which the team can perform, collaborate, and grow.
• You support, motivate, and enable your team in their daily work, helping remove obstacles and ensuring they have the clarity, structure, and support needed to deliver high-quality work consistently.
• You take responsibility for the team’s organization, effectiveness, and continuous development, including regular feedback, individual growth, and the development of relevant skills.
• You foster strong collaboration and proactive communication with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Architecture, Service Desk, Management, and other relevant stakeholders to enable fast and sustainable end-to-end delivery.
• You ensure clear ownership, effective workflows, and healthy collaboration within the team while continuously improving the team’s ways of working.
• You help establish and maintain the technical direction of the team in close collaboration with engineers, architects, and other technical stakeholders. Depending on your background and interests, you may also actively contribute to technical discussions, decisions, and implementation.
• You support the team in evaluating technologies, improving development processes, and evolving agile ways of working where they provide tangible value.
• You take ownership of the team’s overall success and help ensure that both people and products can develop sustainably over time.

Your Profile

• You have completed a degree or vocational training in computer science or a related discipline.
• You have several years of professional experience in both development and leadership roles in software development teams; ideally, you have knowledge in the design and implementation of software architectures and requirements management.
• You are proficient in one or more programming languages, e.g., Python.
• You find a good balance between addressing technical needs and delivering customer features.
• You bring enthusiasm and a lot of drive.
• You are empathetic, enjoy convincing and motivating others, and know how to ignite team spirit in a young, dynamic team.
• You are a strong communicator in English.
• You proactively tackle tasks, avoid postponing decisions, and enjoy taking responsibility for common goals.
• You are the type of person who thrives on challenges and amazes others with your creative thinking and problem-solving approaches.
