The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Team Leader oversees the day-to-day management, execution, and operational performance of KCNA’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution (The Pine), while leading and supporting a team of Cybrarians responsible for daily DAM activities.

This role is accountable for managing DAM operations, team priorities, and execution standards to ensure digital assets are organized, governed, and made available for efficient use across brands, business units, and partners.

Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, the DAM Team Leader ensures effective workflows, consistent service delivery, and strong adoption of DAM processes that support brand consistency, speed to market, and marketing execution.

Core Responsibilities

DAM Operations & Standards Management

  • Manage day-to-day DAM operations for KCNA’s Digital Asset Management platform, ensuring established processes are followed consistently and service expectations are met.
  • Maintain DAM standards for metadata, taxonomy, permissions, asset lifecycle management, and compliance by monitoring execution and addressing gaps in day-to-day operations.
  • Document, update, and reinforce operating procedures, playbooks, and working norms so the Cybrarian team can execute work accurately and efficiently.

Team Leadership & Workload Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cybrarians, providing clear direction, prioritization, and performance expectations.
  • Assign and balance work across the team to ensure timely, high-quality asset ingestion, organization, and governance.
  • Build team capability through onboarding, training, mentoring, and continuous skill development related to DAM best practices, metadata, taxonomy, and emerging content needs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service-oriented partnership with stakeholders.

Stakeholder Enablement & Adoption

  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for DAM-related questions, requests, and issue resolution for internal teams and agency partners.
  • Work closely with marketing, brand, commerce, and creative teams to support DAM workflows, clarify requirements, and help ensure timely execution of content operations.
  • Oversee training materials, onboarding support, and user guidance delivered by the team to promote consistent DAM adoption and proper process compliance across KCNA.

Asset Operations, Quality Control & Discoverability

  • Oversee day-to-day asset intake, organization, maintenance, and retirement activities to ensure assets are managed in line with established standards and usage requirements.
  • Monitor asset quality, metadata accuracy, searchability, and rights compliance so users can reliably find and reuse approved content.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex asset, metadata, and governance issues, coordinating resolution with the appropriate stakeholders and keeping work moving forward.

Reporting, Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Track DAM usage, service levels, workload trends, and user feedback to identify operational issues and opportunities to improve team efficiency.
  • Use reporting and operational insights to support team prioritization, workload planning, and process adjustments.
  • Lead process improvement efforts that simplify workflows, reduce rework, and improve consistency in DAM operations.

Technology Coordination & Operational Support

  • Coordinate with Digital Technology Solutions and IT stakeholders on day-to-day system support needs, operational dependencies, and issue resolution.
  • Support implementation of DAM enhancements, upgrades, and feature rollouts by helping the team prepare, testing processes, and ensuring users have the guidance they need.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or managing a team, including setting priorities, providing feedback, and developing capabilities
  • 3+ years experience managing or supporting a Digital Asset Management system (Aprimo experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and digital content governance
  • Strong ability to manage execution, translate requirements into clear team workflows, and maintain consistency across recurring DAM operations
  • Proven ability to work effectively across marketing, creative, technology, and agency partners to support execution and resolve operational issues
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, including the ability to provide training, clarify processes, and support stakeholder needs
  • Detail-oriented and systems-minded, with a focus on quality control, process discipline, and continuous improvement in day-to-day operations

Salary Range: 96,100 – 118,700 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
