The opportunity
Lead the team that keeps us moving. Overseeing Stores, Fleet and Facilities, you'll drive safe, reliable and efficient operations to support essential services. This opportunity will lead enhanced service delivery and make a real difference for our communities.
The Primary Objectives Of The Position Are

The Primary Objectives Of The Position Are
- Provide leadership to the facilities team through a combination of support, empowerment and accountability.
- Provide operational management of the Stores, Fleet and Facilities functions to ensure the efficient, safe and cost-effective delivery of services across the organisation.
- Lead the transformation and ongoing development of the stores function through the implementation of contemporary inventory management practices, governance frameworks, digital systems and customer-focused service delivery.
- Ensure organisational materials, fleet assets and facilities are maintained, available and fit for purpose to support the delivery of critical water and wastewater services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, compliance, safety, customer service and value for money.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Demonstrated experience leading stores, warehousing, logistics, fleet or facilities operations, including the delivery of safe and efficient services.
- Proven ability to implement operational improvement initiatives, particularly in inventory management, process optimisation and organisational change.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, fleet lifecycle management, contractor management and operational governance.
- Highly developed leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building capable and high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, procurement activities, contracts and supplier relationships to achieve operational and financial outcomes.
