Tech PM / Bilingual Product Manager (Tokyo or Osaka) | AI × B2B SaaS | Global Team

Our client is a fast-growing Japanese technology company developing AI-powered B2B SaaS products that help enterprise customers improve customer engagement and business performance.

The company operates a highly global organization with members from approximately 20 nationalities across multiple international locations. You will work closely with engineering, sales, customer success, and other product stakeholders in both Japanese and English.

The company is currently expanding its product portfolio around its core AI-powered communication platform and is looking for a Bilingual Product Manager (PdM) who can drive product development based on real customer insights and measurable business impact.

Role Overview

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for either an existing AI-powered B2B SaaS product or a new product under development.

You will identify customer problems through interviews, quantitative analysis and stakeholder discussions, determine what should be built and why, and work closely with the development team to deliver product improvements that create measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Product Roadmap & Strategy

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap.
  
• Translate product strategy into development plans.
  
• Prioritize features and initiatives.
  
• Coordinate resources and development schedules.
  
• Continuously review and update the roadmap.
  

Feature Definition & Execution

• Identify and structure customer problems through customer and stakeholder interactions.
  
• Analyze user needs and the competitive environment.
  
• Define product requirements and specifications.
  
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout development.
  
• Manage projects from feature definition through release.
  

Performance Monitoring & Product Improvement

• Track product performance based on customer business outcomes and relevant KPIs.
  
• Analyze product data and user feedback.
  
• Drive data-informed product decisions.
  
• Plan and execute continuous product improvement cycles.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with executives, engineers, business teams and external partners.
  
• Align expectations and priorities across stakeholders.
  
• Communicate project progress, risks and challenges.
  
• Lead cross-functional product initiatives.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  
  • Product Management
    
  • Product Marketing Management
    
  • Project Management
    
  • Product Planning / Direction
    
• Experience managing B2B products or features.
  
• Experience identifying customer problems based on customer insights and translating them into product improvements and business impact.
  
• Business-level Japanese and English communication skills.
  
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:
  
  • Product Management within SaaS, IT solutions or System Integration.
    
  • Marketing technology, AdTech, advertising platforms or Marketing Automation.
    
  • Engineering or Technical Program Management.
    

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing web applications.
  
• Experience working in a startup or fast-growing technology company.

Benefits

Full time position

¥11,004,000 – ¥13,020,000 / year

Annual salary system, paid in 12 monthly installments. Compensation will be determined based on previous salary, experience and skills.

Hybrid work environment with approximately one office day per week recommended.
