Bilingual QA Lead_Tokyodev 仕事概要 # About the Position ## Role Overview This is a **QA Lead** role responsible for driving product quality through **test automation** and **AI-powered quality engineering**. Working closely with the **QA Manager**, who is responsible for people management, you will lead the design and implementation of the company's automation strategy, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and serve as the **technical bridge between Japan and India** across our multinational QA organization. While the QA Manager focuses on **people and organizational management**, this role owns **technical leadership, test automation, AI adoption, and global technical collaboration**. ## Key Responsibilities ### 1. Lead Test Automation Strategy * Design and implement end-to-end automated tests using tools such as **Playwright**, **Cypress**, and **CodeceptJS**. * Design, establish, and standardize the company's test automation framework. * Integrate automated testing into **GitHub Actions** and continuously improve the CI/CD testing pipeline. * Evaluate existing manual testing processes and prioritize areas for automation. ### 2. Improve Quality Through AI * Research, evaluate, and implement AI-powered solutions for test generation, test case design, and defect analysis. * Integrate AI tools and coding agents into the QA workflow to improve engineering productivity and software quality. ### 3. Serve as the Technical Bridge for Global QA * Standardize test design and automation strategies across the Japan and India engineering teams. * Act as the primary technical liaison between Japanese- and English-speaking teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. * Establish knowledge-sharing, technical review, and collaboration processes across global teams. ### 4. Drive Quality Improvement * Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to QA engineers. * Identify quality challenges across multiple products and lead continuous improvement initiatives. # Organization You will join the **Innovation & Engineering Division – Japan QA Team**. Reporting directly to the **QA Manager**, you will serve as the technical lead responsible for automation strategy and global engineering collaboration.
