Occasional on-site meetings in Edmonton may be required.
VStream Labs Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Technical Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to support Government of Alberta request-for-service and government-reorganization initiatives. The engagement is expected to last one year, with a possible extension of up to six months. The schedule is 36.25 hours per week, 7.25 hours per day, generally 8:15 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Mountain Time on weekdays excluding holidays.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinate concurrent technical infrastructure and organizational-change projects across multiple IT teams.
• Support new facilities, office moves, restacks and decommissioning activities.
• Coordinate Active Directory and file-permission changes, cybersecurity requirements and related implementations.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements, specifications and scope.
• Prepare project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs, closure reports and dashboards.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, maintain SharePoint documentation, and provide status reporting.
• Apply governance, change-management and communication practices.
• Support controlled AI proofs of concept with human oversight, security, privacy, ethical use and quality control.
Mandatory qualifications
• Degree plus 4 years of project-coordinator experience; two-year diploma plus 6 years; one-year certificate plus 7 years; or 8 years of project-coordinator experience.
• 9 years as a project coordinator leading technical teams across multiple comparable IT implementations.
• 9 years defining project scope and goals with business stakeholders.
• 9 years developing charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs, closure reports and dashboards.
• 9 years managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to attest to submission accuracy and disclose potential conflicts of interest.
Preferred qualifications
• 9 years supporting government/public-sector IT infrastructure projects.
• 9 years supporting government-reorganization projects.
• 9 years building stakeholder relationships, including executives.
• 9 years facilitating stakeholder meetings.
• 9 years in change management and communication planning.
Other requirements
• Work must be performed from within Canada.
• Supply a modern Windows or macOS computer compatible with Azure Virtual Desktop; Windows preferred.
• Criminal-record screening before start; FOIP and security-awareness training are mandatory.
