Technical Business Analyst - Jakarta

With over 100 years of experience, we serve a global network of partners by offering series tours, educational trips, MICE events, and more. For a new platform that will replace our 4 legacy enterprise systems we are looking for Business Analysts to join our Agile teams. We are looking for X5 analysts who think across business and technology, who can hold their own in a trade-off conversation with developers, and who use dedicated AI tools as part of how they work, not as a buzzword. What you will do: • Run stakeholder workshops and interviews together with the Designer and PO. • Map AS-IS processes, including the messy ones nobody ever documented properly. • Mine legacy systems to surface real pain points, when applicable. • Model TO-BE processes in BPMN 2.0. • Define business rules, data flows, and integration touchpoints. • Validate technical feasibility with developers and architects. • Refine user stories and write acceptance criteria. • Validate business logic in working increments and update documentation as decisions evolve. • Support QA on test scenarios and UAT. What we expect: • 3+ years as an IT / System / Business Analyst on complex information systems. • Technical fluency: SQL for querying and understanding data, comfort with REST APIs and integration patterns. You do not need to code but you do need to discuss trade-offs with developers and be taken seriously. • Every BA we hire is expected to use AI tools fluently. Not as a productivity gimmick but as a core part of how modern analysis work gets done. We are looking for analysts who already replaced 30%+ of their typing time with AI-assisted thinking, and who know where AI helps the most. • Conceptual and data modelling. Working with data structure, quality, and flow across systems. • Agile delivery experience (Scrum). • English B2+ (written and spoken, for international teams and stakeholders). Nice to have: • ERP system exposure. • Enterprise architecture orientation. • Tourism / DMC industry background (we will teach you the domain but a head start helps).
