We usually respond within two weeks We are looking for a Technical Documentalist to join our renewables team (Power electronics). Main duties: • Drafting and preparation of technical documentation in Power Electronics product design areas. • Translation and adaptation of technical documentation (Spanish/English). • Preparation of all manuals: operation and maintenance, load/upload, transport, installation, commisioning. • Review and quality control of product technical documentation. • Coordination with engineering and project teams for documentation validation. • Manage, control and coordinate technical documentation relating to customer projects. • Review of the documentation list agreed with the clients and uploading of documentation to their platform. • Design, develop and maintain a technical documentation exchange methodology between ABB and the customer, leveraging ABB's available tools. • Compliance with ABB technical documentation standards. • Delivery of documentation in accordance with established schedules The candidate must meet the following requirements: •Demonstrated experience in technical documentation (minimum 3 years) •Knowledge in Power Electronics or related sectors is a plus •Proficiency in editing tools (MS Office: Word / Excel, CAD tools viewer) •Knowledge of safety standards (CE, IEC, UL) •Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) •Preferred knowledge in Simplified Technical English (STE) writing •Desirable knowledge of XML writing tools (Arbortext Editor) and Skribenta CCMS •User-level knowledge of tools such as PLM Windchill, Teamcenter, NX, Solid Works or Inventor •Detail-oriented with ability to work autonomously •Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams Centre of excellence Advanced Engineering Role Project Engineer Locations Madrid Remote status Hybrid Location Madrid - San Fernando Henares About RDT RDT is an innovative business group specializing in advanced engineering and information technologies , with offices in 10 countries and more than 1,800 professionals .
