OVERVIEW: We have an exciting opportunity to join our Building, Energy and Infrastructure (BEI) Group at our Raleigh Headquarters office as a Technical Director - Electrical discipline to join our strong MEP Raleigh team as a Senior Leader. Overall objective is to support strategic growth in healthcare, university, municipal, and overall BEI markets in accordance with our 2030 strategic plan and to provide technical support on projects to ensure our project execution remains at a high level to propagate and strengthen the growth of our sectors. DURING YOUR WORK-DAY, YOU WILL: Be responsible for maintaining key client relationships, developing new clients, and handling all aspects of project activity for key projects within the Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure (BEI) market. Responsibilities include business development, marketing, monitoring of quality control for electrical projects and assisting with direction of effective utilization of resources, recruiting, selecting, and developing team members. Responsible to conduct and to help oversee electrical training for our Raleigh electrical team and will participate in sessions throughout our national footprint. Select project management and project leadership for strategic projects and clients Marketing and business development will focus on building client relationships that result in winning new project work from existing and new clients. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a NC PE or ability to quickly obtain NC PE through reciprocity. Minimum 8 years of proven experience in project delivery, client and business management to public and private sector clients managing Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure portfolio. Must have existing relationships with clients and demonstrated past success in building new client relationships. Must possess a thorough understanding of the consulting engineering business and the leadership and business development skills to expand market share in the Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure sector. Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
