Summary of the Role We are seeking a Technical Lead – MERN Stack with 8-10 years of experience to oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of software applications. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, specifically the MERN stack, along with leadership skills to mentor and guide a team of developers. A passion for technology and a collaborative spirit are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale software applications using the MERN stack. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide technical guidance and mentor team members on best practices. Create and own High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documentation for software applications. Perform code reviews, maintain code quality standards, and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify solutions. Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively. Stay updated with new technologies and pursue certification as required by projects. Explore and implement AI, ML, and Data Science solutions, as applicable. Skills and Qualifications Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics Communication or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in Node.js and React.js (knowledge of Angular is a plus). Experience with RDBMS like Oracle/SQL Server/Postgres and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with open-source technologies and tools. Experience with DevOps practices and cloud PaaS solutions (AWS/Azure). Good understanding of containerization using Docker and version control with Git. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to lead and mentor a cross-functional team. Nice-to-Have: Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, and libraries like scikit-learn. Practical application of statistical analysis and mathematical modeling concepts.
