Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting production environments, ensuring system reliability, optimal performance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with SQL databases, and a solid understanding of Linux-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, application, and operational issues.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using SQL queries.
• Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
• Support system security by applying updates, managing access controls, and following operational best practices.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to deploy, support, and improve applications.
• Document processes, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and operational workflows.
• Manage and resolve customer support tickets within defined service levels.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities.
• Assist in the automation and continuous improvement of operational processes.

Role Requirements

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in financial services, derivatives trading, or capital markets. Experience with Middle Office or Back Office operations is highly desirable.
• Highly proficient in SQL, particularly with MySQL/MariaDB databases.
• Linux administration and Bash scripting knowledge.
• Experience using AI to automate services.
• Proficiency with Python programming
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Experience with Git version control is an advantage.
