Technical Product Owner

About our Client and the role Our Client is a US-based platform for network and infrastructure management. We're seeking a Product Owner to help drive the evolution of our platform by partnering closely with engineering, design, and customers. You will own the product backlog, translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, and ensure engineering teams are focused on delivering high-impact functionality. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on highly technical products, can navigate complex requirements, and is passionate about building solutions that improve the daily workflows of network engineers and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with product strategy and business objectives. Work closely with customers, Product Management, Design, and Engineering to understand user needs and translate them into clear product requirements and user stories. Lead backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and acceptance of completed work. Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for new features and enhancements. Balance customer feedback, technical constraints, and business priorities when making product decisions. Collaborate with engineering throughout the development lifecycle to clarify requirements and remove blockers. Validate delivered functionality, ensuring it meets user expectations and product quality standards. Partner with Design to deliver intuitive user experiences for complex, data-driven workflows. Analyze product usage, customer feedback, and market trends to continuously improve the product. Communicate priorities, roadmap updates, and product decisions to internal stakeholders. Requirements Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager working on SaaS products and On Premise Solutions. Experience managing backlogs and defining user stories in Agile/Scrum environments. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements. Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Comfortable working with technical products and engineering-focused customers. Ability to prioritize effectively and make decisions in a fast-paced startup environment. Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar product management tools. Good level of English as you will be working with an English-speaking team. Nice to Have Experience working on infrastructure, networking, cloud, observability, DevOps, cybersecurity, or platform products. Familiarity with network management concepts, APIs, or open-source software. Experience working with developer tools or technical enterprise products. Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams. Understanding of UX principles and customer discovery techniques.
