Job Description: This position requires regular support during U.S. business hours, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (approximately 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM in Poland, depending on Daylight Saving Time). Candidates must be comfortable working this schedule as part of a globally distributed team. Position Summary The Technical Project Manager works as a member of the Product Development Project Management Office (PMO) within Epiq’s Legal Solutions business unit. In this role, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cloud-native software projects that support both internal users and external SaaS clients across Epiq’s Legal Solutions Technology and Epiq Service Cloud platforms. The Technical Project Manager partners closely with engineering, product management, QA, and business stakeholders to drive project success from initiation through deployment: The Technical Project Manager serves as the primary point of coordination across cross-functional teams, ensuring that project scope, schedule, and budget are clearly defined, tracked, and communicated to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The Technical Project Manager applies proven project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) to guide development teams building and enhancing in-house cloud-native applications, including Epiq Discovery and the Epiq AI Discovery Assistant, for both internal operations and external SaaS clients. The Technical Project Manager is a highly collaborative and visible role, working alongside product owners, software engineers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of Epiq’s legal technology clients. Essential Job Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project management for cloud-native software development initiatives within the Product Development PMO, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and budget Define and maintain project plans, milestones, resource plans, risk registers, and status reports; proactively iden tify and res olve blockers to keep projects on track Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; coach teams on Agile best practices to improve velocity and delivery quality Serve as a primary liaison between product owners, engineering teams, QA, and business stakeholders; translate technical requirements into clear project deliverables and communicate status and risks to leadership Manage project intake, prioritization, and portfolio visibility within the PMO; support continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and tools to drive consistency and efficiency across the product development organization Partner with product management to maintain and refine the product backlog, support release planning, and ensure alignment between roadmap priorities a nd engin eering capacity Requirements for the role include: To perform this job succes sfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactoril y. The r equirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required . 3 to 5 years of project management experience in a software development or technology company, with a demonstrated trac k record of delivering cloud-based or SaaS products PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification is a plus Proficiency with Agile and Scrum methodologies; experience managing development sprints, backlogs, and release cycles in fast-paced product development environments Working knowledge of cloud-native software development concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP); ability to engage credibly with engineering teams on technical topics without necessarily being a hands-on developer Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms; ability to build and maintain project dashboards, tracking reports, and PMO artifacts Experience managing projects for SaaS products serving both internal enterprise users and external clients; understanding of software release management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows is a plus Experience in the eDiscovery, legal technol ogy, or litigation support industry is strongly preferred but not required Proven problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and sound judgment when managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects Self-starter capable of working with distributed, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive clarity Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to tailor messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership Ability to influence and drive alignment across teams and individuals outside of a direct management structure; strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Must be abl e to ant icipate project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and manage escalations to resolution in a timely and professional manner Must be self-directed, highly organized, and able to foster initiative, accountability, and a delivery-focused mindset in others Must be responsive to evolving business needs and comfortable operating in a global, distributed team environment spanning multiple time zones Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business , Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is strongly preferred; equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered 3 to 5 years of progressive project management experience in a software company or technology organization, ideally managing projects for cloud-native or SaaS application development Experience in the eDiscovery, litigation support, or legal technology industry is strongly preferred but not required ; candidates with relevant SaaS or enterprise software backgrounds are encouraged to apply Leadership Competencies Integrity -- Behaves in an honest, fair and ethical manner; shows consistency in words and actions; does what she/he commits to doing; respects the confidentiality of information or concerns shared by others; is honest and forthright with people; carries his/her fair share of the workload; takes responsibility for own mistakes.
