Technical Project Manager
StacuityAbout us
Stacuity exists to drive the future of enterprise connectivity. We are a small and dynamic company with big plans and aspirations and every team member at Stacuity is key to achieving them.
Summary of this job:
The purpose of this job is to own the day to day delivery of our client engagements and act as the key link between the delivery function and our engineering and technical operations teams. Working on-site at our Isle of Man Headquarters, or remotely, with periodic on-site client visits and occasional team meetings you will run projects through their full lifecycle while working closely with engineers to turn client requirements into delivered outcomes.
Closing date for applications: Friday 2nd October
Key responsibilities – what you will do:
- Pre-Sales and Scoping Support: Work with the pre-sales solution architect on scoping new projects, providing delivery input on feasibility, effort, dependencies, and realistic timelines, and supporting a clean handover from sales into delivery.
- Project Delivery and Execution: Own the day-to-day delivery of assigned client projects across the full lifecycle, from planning and execution through monitoring to handover into in-life operations, keeping each project on time, in scope, and to budget.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the main link between delivery and the engineering and tech ops teams. Translate client requirements into technical tasks, track technical dependencies, and keep delivery and engineering aligned throughout each project.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned client projects, running project calls, managing actions, and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Change and Scope Control: Log and manage change requests against the agreed scope of work, keeping any changes to scope, cost, or timeline visible, controlled, and agreed rather than quietly absorbed.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project-level risks and issues, resolving what you can and escalating where needed.
- Third-Party and Partner Coordination: Coordinate the third parties involved in delivery, such as mobile network operators, connectivity partners, and vendors, keeping their contributions aligned with the project plan.
- Delivery Coordination: Maintain project plans, boards, and documentation in Monday.com, coordinate cross-functional resources for your projects, and keep schedules accurate and up to date.
- Project Financials: Track project budget and spend against the agreed scope of work, flagging any risk of overrun early.
- Testing, Acceptance and Handover: Coordinate testing and user acceptance, manage acceptance criteria and sign-off, and support cutover, go-live, and handover into in-life operations.
- Status Reporting: Provide regular, clear updates to clients and to management through reports, dashboards, and meetings.
- Internal Projects: Deliver assigned internal projects alongside client work, with client delivery taking priority and internal projects picked up as capacity allows.
- Technical Understanding: Build and maintain enough working knowledge of the Stacuity platform to hold credible delivery conversations with both clients and engineers, and to spot technical risks early.
- Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and feed practical improvements back into how we deliver.
Information Security:
All employees are responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information they access in the course of their work. The post-holder must comply with Stacuity's Information Security Management System (ISMS), its supporting policies and procedures, and all applicable legal, regulatory and contractual obligations, in line with the company's ISO/IEC 27001 certification. This includes completing mandatory security awareness training, reporting suspected security incidents promptly, and handling information assets in accordance with their classification. Failure to meet these responsibilities may be treated as a disciplinary matter. Certain obligations, including those relating to confidentiality, continue to apply after employment ends.
