SCHEDULE: Monday to Thursday in the office, Friday remote

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead technology initiatives for a large enterprise client. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of overall experience, began their career in a technical role, and has since moved into project management while maintaining a strong understanding of technology and engineering delivery.

This is not a purely administrative PM role. We are looking for someone who can work effectively with engineers, architects, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to drive complex technical projects from planning through implementation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects, including planning, execution, risk management, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
• Partner closely with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, application, and business teams.
• Translate business objectives and technical requirements into clear project plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Facilitate technical discussions and help bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Drive project status meetings, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and that teams have clear ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models depending on the project.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 8–10 years of overall technology experience, including several years managing technical projects.
• Prior hands-on technical experience before transitioning into a Project Manager / Technical PM role.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise technology environments.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and engage credibly with developers, engineers, architects, and technical leads.
• Strong project planning, organization, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to drive execution, follow through on commitments, and keep teams aligned around deadlines and deliverables.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience managing application development, systems integration, cloud, infrastructure, digital transformation, or enterprise technology projects.
• Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
• PMP, CSM, SAFe, or similar certification is a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION

W-2 contract: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour.

Corp-to-corp: $50.00 to $70.00 per hour.
