Field of activity:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term assignment to lead two mission-critical infrastructure transformation initiatives within Commodities IT.
In this role, you will orchestrate complex deliveries across multiple legal entities, diverse IT product lines, and organizational units. You will be responsible for end-to-end project governance, technical dependency alignment, and execution planning to ensure high availability, compliance, and zero unplanned downtime for trading and post-trading systems.
Your responsibilities:
Project Governance & Execution: Build, baseline, and maintain comprehensive, milestone-driven technical project plans, resource allocations, and critical-path schedules.
Cross-Entity Alignment: Drive coordination across multiple legal entities, infrastructure engineering teams, network operations, security, data center facilities, and external vendors/cabling contractors.
Migration & Cutover Planning: Define granular runbooks, rollback strategies, and cutover protocols for the recabling and migration of 300+ mission-critical bare-metal and appliance targets.
Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify architectural bottlenecks, multi-team dependencies, lead times for hardware delivery, and operational risks.
Stakeholder Reporting: Provide clear, data-driven status reporting, KPI tracking, and escalation management directly to the Head of Infrastructure Engineering and IT leadership.
Your profile:
Experience: 5+ years of technical project management experience delivering large-scale data center, network, or systems infrastructure projects in high-availability environments (FinTech, Capital Markets, Energy/Commodities, or Telecommunications).
Network & Systems Acumen: Technical foundation in Layer-2/Layer-3 networking, physical data center rack/cable management, server lifecycle migrations, and enterprise storage/backup architectures (e.g., immutable snapshots, air-gapped storage).
Project Delivery Skills: Proven track record in detailed cutover planning, change management (ITIL), runbook creation, and managing complex multi-stakeholder initiatives across matrixed organizations, ideally backed by a recognized certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2),
Communication: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to translate technical constraints into executive-level briefings.
