Your Role as Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager with a GenAI focus, you will steer complex AI projects from inception to deployment while ensuring alignment with scientific objectives, contractual obligations, and stakeholder expectations.

• Lead the end-to-end management of Horizon Europe, EDF and internal GenAI projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.

• Define and maintain project milestones and deliverables in accordance with EU project requirements.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams of AI researchers, software engineers, and domain experts across different EU countries.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of research proposals, deliverables, and exploitation plans.

• Translate complex GenAI concepts and research outcomes into clear communication for non-technical audiences.

• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving blockers to maintain delivery schedules.

• Drive best practices in agile project management and continuous integration within AI development workflows.

Requirements

• BSc and MSc Degrees in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of project management experience in a technology or research-driven environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing EU-funded R&D projects (Horizon Europe / EDF), including knowledge of reporting cycles and consortium dynamics.

• Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies: LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and decision tracing methodologies.

• Proficiency with project management tools (Asana)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to author technical documentation and project reports to a high standard.

• Prior involvement to Horizon Europe and EDF projects

• Ability to work from home efficiently

Nice to Have

• PhD in AI, Big Data, Data Analysis.

• Hands-on experience with GenAI development (Python, LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI API, or similar).

• Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI deployment pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

• Experience in data governance, AI ethics frameworks, and responsible AI principles.

• Knowledge of Greek or Romanian language is a plus.
