This is a hybrid position with possible locations in Bratislava, Žilina or Košice.

Apply now for the position of Technical Project & Release Manager and you will serve as the primary interface between business requirements, software suppliers, development teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant software delivery throughout the product lifecycle.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, testing, documenting, and releasing software changes within the Managed Node Package (MNP) environment. Managed Node Package is a software component integrated into medical devices that enables secure connectivity and provides the technical foundation for remote service and support.

The position combines project management, software release management, supplier coordination, DevOps governance, testing oversight, security vulnerability management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your role:

Project Planning & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and plan critical enhancements and issue resolutions for upcoming releases.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into software change initiatives.

• Facilitate alignment between development, operations, and business stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and manage release roadmaps.

Supplier & Contract Coordination

• Coordinate software deliveries, change requests, and release schedules with external software suppliers.

• Ensure supplier deliverables comply with quality, security, and release requirements.

DevOps & Change Management

• Maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) projects and repositories.

• Track software modifications, change requests, defects, and release status.

• Ensure traceability of software changes from requirements through deployment.

• Support continuous improvement of development and release workflows.

Test Management

• Design and prepare test cases for software changes delivered by suppliers.

• Execute functional and regression testing activities.

• Validate software quality and expected functionality.

• Document test results and coordinate defect resolution.

• Maintain and administer testing environments.

Release Management

• Document software changes and release scope within Azure DevOps.

• Prepare release documentation, including (Release Notes, Software Clearing Compliance and approval documentation)

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of release packages.

• Maintain automated documentation workflows using Power Automate.

Operations & Security Management

• Software vulnerability tracking and assessment activities.

• Coordinate remediation planning for identified security vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with software providers to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Participate in regular synchronization meetings to ensure effective communication across organizational boundaries.



Work Experience

• Project Management & SDLC (Azure DevOps, Agile / Scrum, Issue/Change tracking)

• Project Testing & Quality Assurance (test planning, functional & regression testing, defect tracking, software validation and verification)

• Software Release management (Release notes, approval documents)

• Documentation & Collaboration (O365)

• Workflow Automation (Microsoft Power Automate)

• Security & Compliance (Vulnerability Management, Security Compliance Tracking Risk Assessment)

• DevOps principles (CI/CD concepts, Configuration Management)

• Behavioral skills (stakeholders management, organizational skills, problem solving)

• Experience with regulated or quality-driven software environments is advantageous.

Benefits

In line with applicable pay transparency requirements, the minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is 2400€.

In addition, this role includes a variable compensation component, depending on individual and/or company performance.

The final offer will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience and may exceed the stated minimum.
