Technical Recruiter

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team in Newcastle, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will focus on sourcing and hiring technical professionals across Data Analytics & AI, AI Engineering and Enterprise/Cloud Architecture. You will partner with hiring managers and work closely with a Lead Recruiter to support EPAM’s rapidly expanding Data & AI practice within an AI-native consulting environment.

You will drive recruitment strategies, develop proactive talent pipelines and leverage modern recruitment methodologies, including AI-driven sourcing, to identify and engage top-tier technical talent. This position offers an opportunity to directly influence EPAM’s growth by attracting exceptional engineering professionals for transformative technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract niche technical talent in Data Analytics, AI Engineering and Cloud Architecture
• Utilize Boolean search techniques, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter and AI-enabled tools to build and maintain talent pipelines
• Conduct technical screening and assessments based on understanding of software engineering principles, the SDLC and cloud infrastructures
• Partner with hiring managers to analyse staffing needs, define ideal candidate profiles and create effective recruiting strategies
• Manage full-cycle recruitment processes across multiple technical roles while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and provide regular updates on hiring metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams to align recruitment delivery with business priorities
• Support employer branding, recruitment campaigns and community engagement initiatives
• Stay informed about industry and labour market trends in Data Analytics, Cloud Engineering and AI talent spaces
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with internal hiring policies, data protection and regulatory standards

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in technology recruitment, preferably hiring Data, AI, Cloud or Engineering professionals
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical roles across Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Cloud or Architecture
• Solid understanding of software engineering concepts, SDLC processes and modern cloud technology stacks
• Proven sourcing skills, including Boolean search, networking, direct sourcing and passive candidate engagement
• Experience using AI tools to enhance sourcing efficiency and recruitment workflows
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
• Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions efficiently
• Analytical mindset to evaluate metrics and continuously improve recruitment performance
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, hybrid and team-oriented environment
