Technical Sales & Customer Success

At PolyPerception, we help waste sorting and recycling facilities improve their performance through real-time data. We use deep learning and computer vision to identify and measure materials moving through a facility, helping operators understand their processes and make better decisions.

We’re a small, ambitious team looking for someone who enjoys understanding customers, working with technology and data, and turning operational challenges into practical solutions.

Your role combines technical sales, customer success and shaping our product. You’ll work with customers from their first conversation with us through installation and ongoing use of our platform. What you learn will directly influence what we build next.

What you’ll do

1. Technical sales and customer relationships

• Understand prospective customers’ sorting processes, business objectives and challenges, and identify where our technology can help.
• Present our platform, demonstrate relevant use cases and prepare proposals.
• Follow up on opportunities
• Build long-term customer relationships, support renewals and identify opportunities to expand our solution across additional lines or facilities.

2. Customer success and practical implementation

• Support installations and onboarding to implement the solution smoothly at our customers.
• Help customers configure dashboards, alerts, reports and material categories around their operational needs.
• Run regular customer meetings, review results and help customers use their data.
• Analyse time-series data and sample results and investigate discrepancies.
• Take ownership of customer issues: understand the problem, coordinate with the right people and follow through until it is resolved.

3. Shape our product

• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and help prioritise our roadmap.
• Work with our engineers on platform functionality, usability and new features.
• Help evaluate AI model performance and identify where better training data or changes to material categories are needed.
• Introduce new features to customers, gather feedback and check whether they solve the intended problem.

What we’re looking for

• A strong desire to understand our customers and how their facilities work.
• An analytical mindset: you’re comfortable interpreting graphs, working with basic statistics and questioning unexpected results.
• Curiosity about our technology, including computer vision, machine learning, RGB and NIR sensors.
• Clear communication in English, both written and spoken, and confidence presenting to plant operators, engineers and business decision-makers.
• Initiative and reliable follow-through: you can manage several customer priorities, take responsibility and learn quickly.
• A willingness to work hands-on at waste sorting and recycling facilities.

You don’t need to arrive as an expert in every technology we use, but you should be eager to learn.

Additional languages, experience in recycling or industrial processes, data analysis skills, or an interest in UI/UX are a plus.

Practical details

• Some travel to customers, mainly across Europe and the UK, with occasional trips further afield.
• Participate in onsite installations, customer training and troubleshooting alongside our technical team.
• Work from our Antwerp office, with up to two days per week working from home. Our office is within walking distance of Antwerpen-Berchem station.
