Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer – Alexandria will be responsible for developing and managing sales opportunities for marine and industrial lubricants in the Alexandria region. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Cairo, Egypt, with regular travel to Alexandria and some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and approaching potential clients, conducting technical presentations, and recommending suitable products based on customer requirements and operating conditions. The role involves providing technical support before and after sales, preparing quotations and proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely order follow-up and customer satisfaction. The Technical Sales Engineer will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate deliveries, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and contribute to sales forecasts and reporting.
Qualifications

• Strong technical sales capabilities, including experience in Technical Sales and Sales Engineering for industrial or marine products.
• Proven sales skills, with a track record in Sales and customer relationship management within B2B environments.
• Ability to provide effective Technical Support, including product selection, troubleshooting, and application guidance.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Knowledge of lubricants, greases, and industrial or marine applications is highly preferred.
• Comfortable with field work, client visits, and travel between Cairo and Alexandria, holding a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools; strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage a sales territory.
• Fluency in Arabic and good command of English for technical communication and reporting.
