Experienced Scrum Master responsible for facilitating agile delivery, enabling high-performing teams, and ensuring effective implementation of Scrum practices within a project management environment. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, removing impediments, and supporting stakeholders to deliver value-aligned outcomes. Key Responsibilities Project Management (DE) - Project Management - Scrum Master (Functional) • Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. • Coach and guide the development team and Product Owner on Scrum principles, practices, and frameworks to maximize value delivery. • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity, alignment, and readiness of user stories. • Identify, track, and remove impediments to the team’s progress, escalating issues where necessary to ensure timely resolution. • Promote a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation through effective use of metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and team health indicators. • Support cross-functional collaboration between business, technology, and operations teams to achieve sprint and release goals. • Ensure alignment of sprint outcomes with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards. • Foster an environment of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and driving actionable outcomes. • Help the team adopt best practices in agile delivery, estimation, and planning to improve predictability and throughput. • Safeguard the team from external interruptions and unnecessary scope changes during the sprint. • Support risk and issue management activities related to agile delivery within the project. • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and project managers to ensure consistent practices and effective dependency management across teams. Qualifications and Skills Scrum Master with Security Clearance • Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in an agile project management environment. • Deep understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and related frameworks (e.g., Kanban, SAFe, or similar). • Experience in end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and release management. • Hands-on experience with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. • Relevant professional certification preferred (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on agile ways of working and continuous improvement.
