We are hiring a Technical Support Manager.

About the Role

You are the first line between our customers and a smoothly running Cerrion system. You onboard new customers, keep their setups healthy, and build the processes and automations that let support scale across factories in 18+ countries without scaling headcount at the same pace.

This is a customer-facing, high-ownership role. You combine deep networking and security knowledge with a project manager's discipline and an engineer's instinct to automate anything that repeats.

Your responsibilities

• Configure networking equipment, cameras, servers, and whatever else is needed to onboard a new customer.

• Support our customers during the setup and operation of the Cerrion solution, and manage onboarding projects from kickoff to go-live.

• Support our development team with infrastructure questions.

• Monitor all our systems, on-premises and in the cloud, to ensure smooth operation.

• Build automation that makes support faster and more proactive, including:

• Continuously improve processes and infrastructure.

Our Requirements

• Deep understanding of computer networks and security. Networking is the core of this role.

• Solid knowledge of networking concepts and hardware.

• Customer-facing experience, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to IT teams and plant staff.

• Project management skills: you plan, track, and drive onboardings to completion.

• Solid Linux and Docker knowledge.

• Solid Prometheus and Grafana knowledge.

• Solid cloud and Infrastructure as Code knowledge.

• Enough Python to write scripts and internal tooling.

• Fluent English, spoken and written. German and other languages are a big plus.

• Comfort in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly and not every process is established and documented yet.

• Motivation to tackle problems as they arise, a broad technical horizon, and a drive to keep learning.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Familiarity with industrial networks and protocols such as OPC-UA.

• Experience building support automation or internal tooling.

• Experience with computer vision or ML-based products.
