Role: Technical Support Specialist – GNSS & Surveying (m/f/d) Location: NRW, Germany | Remote (100%) | Full-time Why You’ll Love This Role Providing expert consultation and technical support to customers and colleagues Supporting the Helpdesk/Technical Support team as a specialist in: - Total stations and GNSS systems for construction and engineering applications - Leica software solutions for surveying and GIS Coordinating, analyzing, and resolving customer inquiries remotely Documenting and managing requests in ticketing/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) Conducting on-site field support visits for customers Delivering customer training sessions (on-site or remote) Conducting internal training for sales teams and channel partners Supporting sales during customer demonstrations and consultations Assisting workshops with fault analysis and direct customer communication Supporting technical exhibitions and events Assisting with translation of technical documentation Performing hardware and software tests for new products and software versions Creating customer-facing technical documentation Who You Are Completed university degree or vocational training in geodesy, surveying, geoinformation, or a related field Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for customer interaction Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Solid technical understanding and interest in cutting-edge technology Proficient in IT tools and comfortable with modern devices Passion for using state-of-the-art surveying instruments and software Excellent analytical skills Confident, friendly, and calm demeanor—even under pressure Native or near-native German (C1+), as German is the primary working language Good written and spoken English Prior practical experience in surveying (both office and field work) is desirable Experience with Leica surveying instruments and/or software is a plus Willingness to travel within Germany What You Can Expect A permanent position in a growing, technically demanding industry Diverse, autonomous tasks with significant creative and operational freedom Professional support from Technical Sales and Sales Assistance teams Competitive compensation package (fixed salary + bonus) Modern laptop and smartphone for remote work, home office allowance, and access to well-equipped offices Employer-funded pension plan (support fund and subsidized direct insurance) Employer-paid accident insurance Monthly tax-free benefits or access to Corporate Fitness via Urban Sports 30 days of annual leave, plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off About Hexagon Hexagon is a global leader in measurement technologies.
