Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech & SaaS company building products that help businesses manage and optimize their software spend. We’re also building LLMAPI.ai - an API platform that gives businesses access to multiple AI models through a single integration.
We’re looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join the LLM API team. This is a non-development role for someone who is technically curious, learns quickly, and enjoys solving problems and helping customers.
You’ll work with customers using our API, investigate technical issues, and help keep our growing AI model catalog running smoothly.

What you’ll do:
- Monitor customer questions and requests via Slack and email
- Investigate and troubleshoot API-related issues
- Explain technical issues to customers in a clear and simple way
- Work with the technical team to investigate and escalate more complex issues
- Keep customers updated and make sure issues are followed through to resolution
- Support the operational side of the LLM catalog: new models, updates, availability changes, etc.
- Use the admin panel to manage catalog updates and customer communications
- Prepare and send updates about new models and important changes
- Maintain internal documentation and FAQs
- Identify recurring issues and suggest ways to improve support processes and automation
- Good technical understanding - you don’t need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable with APIs, AI models, and technical systems
- Basic understanding of APIs: requests, responses, API keys, errors, latency, etc.
- Understanding of LLMs and major AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google
- General understanding of how AI agents and automations work
- Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn new tools quickly
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple requests at the same time
- Ability to work in a US time zone
