Core Banking sits at the heart of Santander UK’s technology, supporting the critical systems and services behind customer accounts, balances, transactions, payments and lending. Our work connects with teams and technologies across the bank, giving you a valuable perspective on how a large, complex organisation uses the full range of technologies from modern mainframes, to cloud based operating systems and digital APIs and microservices to serve millions of customers reliably and securely, through multiple channels such as internet and mobile banking, chatbots, contacts centres and branches, providing the foundations to Santander’s banking transformation.

Alongside structured learning, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience and develop strong foundations in technology, problem-solving, teamwork and delivering change. You do not need specialist knowledge before joining us. We will teach you what you need to know and support you as you grow. In return, we are looking for people who are open-minded, engaged and ready to make the most of an opportunity that can provide an excellent foundation for a long-term career in technology.

What You’ll Bring

  • Curiosity about banking technology and an interest in how complex systems, applications and services work together (Required)

Salary Range:
£45,320.00 - £67,980.00 per annum (depending on experience)This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week.
