Role Overview Location: Remote (Mexico) Schedule: 1st Shift (9a-6p CST); Monday through Friday Pay Rate: 22,000 MXN (Monthly) Your Mission as a Technical Writer Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, training materials, process documentation, and help content. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical accuracy. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and standards to ensure consistency. Research and compile information from multiple sources to create comprehensive content. Review, edit, and proofread documentation for clarity, accuracy, and completeness. Manage documentation repositories and ensure content remains current and relevant. Partner with project managers and stakeholders to deliver documentation on schedule. Gather feedback from internal and external audiences to continuously improve documentation quality. Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical communication. What You Bring to the Team Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field required. Preferred certifications: Certified Technical Writer (CTW) ITIL Foundation Certification Experience & Skills Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and professional documentation. Experience working with technical subject matter and communicating complex information to diverse audiences. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation management tools. Ability to organize and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously. Strong project management and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Experience with software development methodologies and technical concepts is preferred. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
