In this two-year cohort, associates gain hands-on technical experience, mentoring, learning and development, and exposure to GEICO’s AI strategy while helping transform GEICO into an AI-first insurance business. How You’ll Make a Difference Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle and participate in design sessions, code reviews, scrum meetings, and presentations. Product & User Requirements: Influence product definition, work with user requirements, and leverage technical skills to drive toward the right solution. AI Systems Development: Scope, design, build, and troubleshoot scalable, resilient AI systems, applications, and technology products in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly and technologies advance rapidly. Enterprise AI Impact: Help develop and operate GEICO’s AI infrastructure, GenAI Platform, AI Agents, enterprise-critical AI solutions, and AI/ML models while contributing to valuable business initiatives that enhance customer experience and improve business efficiency. What We’re Looking For Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Computer Engineering, Physics, or other relevant engineering major, obtained by May 202 7 . Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Please upload all transcripts as part of the application process. Advanced coursework and hands-on experience with at least one modern language such as Java and Python. Core Skills: Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts. Strong coding skills, with the ability to produce high-quality code that is reusable and repeatable without being overly complex. Strong analytical, problem-solving, programming, and written and verbal English communication skills. Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle, including task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, and real-time communication. Preferred Skills: Basic understanding of GenAI, LLM, and ML. Basic understanding of existing operational portals such as Azure Portal. Basic understanding of monitoring tools such as Splunk or Application Insights. Well-rounded experiences outside of the classroom with different technologies, resulting in projects that demonstrate strong engineering skills and abilities. Annual Salary $37.22 - $150,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
