We are seeking an experienced Technology SME - Compliance, Legal & People Systems to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions supporting compliance, legal operations, and HR functions. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in Healthcare IT, HIPAA compliance, and HR Technology who can bridge business requirements with scalable technology solutions.

As a Technology SME, you will work closely with compliance, legal, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure enterprise systems align with regulatory requirements, improve operational efficiency, and support secure data management. You will play a key role in evaluating technologies, optimizing business processes, managing system integrations, and driving digital transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with healthcare and data privacy regulations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of compliance, legal, and HR technology platforms
• Ensure enterprise systems comply with healthcare regulations, data privacy standards, and organizational governance policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions
• Configure, optimize, and integrate HR, compliance, and legal systems with enterprise applications
• Support HIPAA compliance initiatives by implementing secure data handling, access controls, and audit processes
• Evaluate new technologies, recommend process improvements, and drive digital transformation projects
• Develop system documentation, governance frameworks, and best practices for compliance and HR technology operations
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate enhancements with internal teams and technology vendors
• Support reporting, analytics, and dashboard development to improve compliance monitoring and operational decision-making
• Provide technical guidance, stakeholder training, and subject matter expertise across compliance, legal, and people systems
  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 9+ years of experience working with Healthcare IT, compliance systems, legal technology, or HR technology platforms
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, healthcare regulations, data privacy, and governance requirements
• Experience implementing, supporting, or optimizing HRIS, legal, compliance, or enterprise business systems
• Knowledge of system integrations, workflow automation, reporting, and enterprise application architecture
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
• Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders in complex enterprise environments
• Familiarity with information security principles, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives while ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to improve compliance, people operations, and business processes
