The Position: The Temporary Master Data Coordinator is responsible for key master data creation, maintenance, and hygiene by applying SAP S/4HANA enterprise system knowledge and following established master data governance. They contribute to our operational excellence through the effective execution of daily master data activities with strict adherence to detailed operating procedures. Using stringent attention to detail they must ensure data integrity of our existing data sets and support scheduled master data audits.
Duration: Full-Time, Temporary role through June 2027
Location: Hybrid – work from home with travel to on-site quarterly in White River Jct., VT
The Pay: $24.60 - $31.51 per hour worked. Commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain master data records within SAP S/4HANA and related systems, including products, vendors, customers, bills of material, inventory data, and related cross-references.
- Process and prioritize master data requests accurately and within established timelines.
- Review data for completeness and accuracy, following established data governance standards and procedures.
- Extract, organize, and maintain data to support reporting needs and assigned master data projects.
- Assist with data quality audits and resolve identified data discrepancies, exceptions, and non-conformances.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information, answer questions, and support day-to-day master data activities.
Education and Experience
- 3+ years in a role requiring data evaluation and entry
- Experience working within ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA, strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including sorting, filtering, formulas, and data validation functions.
- Experience using workflow or project management tools such as Asana, SharePoint, or comparable systems preferred.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to observe, research, and interpret data to identify inaccuracies and apply appropriate corrections.
- Communication and collaboration: Competence and confidence to function as a reliable support resource quickly grasping instructions and asking for clarification as required. Responsiveness and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Highly organized, motivated and detail oriented: Has, or can create a system for keeping tasks on point and on time. Able to juggle competing demands and prioritize without sacrificing quality. Successfully plan and meet deadlines.
- Results oriented: Efficient at task completion and accuracy. Identifies errors and inconsistencies and proactively solves problems and collaborates on solutions.

Physical requirements
- Ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk, both in a home office and onsite, using a computer and other standard office equipment.
- Regular use of computer keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through digital platforms.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment.
- May occasionally be required to lift or move items up to 15 pounds (e.g., office materials, documents).

- Ability to commute to the office for in-person meetings, trainings, or other business needs as required.
