Salary: $75,000.00 Annually Territory Sales Manager We're looking for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping customers solve complex operational challenges. Our Territory Sales Managers support customers throughout their assigned region by identifying opportunities, providing expert guidance, and connecting customers with industry-leading waste and recycling equipment solutions. This role combines business development, technical consulting, customer relationship management, and travel, making it ideal for someone who enjoys creating long-term partnerships and delivering meaningful results. With guidance from the Senior Area Sales Manager, develops, executes, manages, and reports on ongoing sales and customer support efforts within a specified regional territory. This is a remote position supporting a multi-state sales territory and requires extensive travel throughout the territory. Starting from $75,000 per year plus commission. Why Join Our Team? What You’ll Do: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role. Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory. Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research. Partner closely with the broader sales team to maximize sales growth and market expansion. Build strong relationships with existing customers and provide ongoing support. Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and equipment manufacturers. Conduct equipment demonstrations, customer training, and product presentations. Support stationary equipment sales by collaborating with sales engineers and project managers. Educate customers on equipment capabilities, best practices, and industry solutions. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities. Maintain accurate records and sales forecasts using Salesforce CRM, Acumatica, and other business systems. Communicate customer feedback, opportunities, and market intelligence to leadership and team members. Participate in marketing initiatives, industry events, trade shows, and customer engagement activities. Support customer success through ongoing equipment and operational guidance. What We’re Looking for: Sales & Relationship Building Demonstrated success in sales, business development, account management, or product management. Strong ability to develop trusted relationships and influence decision-making. Skilled at identifying customer needs and recommending effective solutions. Persistent and proactive in following up on opportunities and driving results. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Industry & Technical Knowledge Ability to develop a strong understanding of Viably's products, applications, and industry solutions. Ability to learn and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience presenting solutions to customers at multiple levels within an organization. Understanding of industrial equipment, recycling, waste management, manufacturing, or related industries is considered an asset. Communication & Problem Solving Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation and consultative selling abilities. Ability to research, learn, and explain new technologies and industry trends. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Professional, confident, and customer-focused approach. Comfortable managing multiple opportunities and customer relationships simultaneously. Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable. Experience & Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in outside sales, territory management, business development, or account management. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce. Experience in industrial equipment, recycling, manufacturing, environmental services, or related industries is considered an asset. Work Environment & Travel Requirements Work is performed remotely and at customer locations. Regular visits to customer facilities, industrial sites, warehouses, recycling operations, and outdoor environments. Exposure to varying weather conditions and industrial settings may occur. Ability to safely navigate customer sites and equipment environments is required. Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory. Travel may include driving long distances, overnight stays, trade shows, customer visits, and company meetings. Occasional travel to company headquarters, manufacturer facilities, conferences, and industry events may be required. Must maintain a valid driver's license and be able to travel as required.
