About the Role

Are you a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing new business, building strong customer relationships, and turning opportunities into sustainable growth?

As our Territory Sales Manager – Southern Europe, you will take ownership of business development across a diverse and dynamic region, including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia.

Your key focus will be to create demand, identify and develop new business opportunities, and expand our customer base. This is a hands-on sales role where you will actively engage with customers and prospects, including proactive outreach and cold calling, manage opportunities from initial contact through quotation and follow-up, and help convert opportunities into profitable business.

You will work closely with Program Managers, Application Engineers, Customer Service, and Logistics to understand customer requirements and develop solutions that meet both customer needs and our business objectives.

You will also be responsible for managing your sales pipeline, forecasts, and POS performance against budget, adapting your sales approach where needed to achieve corporate KPIs and growth targets.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable new business growth across the Southern European territory by identifying, developing, and converting sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key customers, prospects, and strategic accounts.
  • Actively generate new leads through customer outreach, prospecting, cold calling, networking, and market analysis.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification and customer engagement through quotations, negotiations, and business award follow-up.
  • Maintain a healthy, accurate, and up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are properly prioritized and progressed.
  • Prepare and manage sales quotations, pricing analyses, forecasts, and regular business reviews.
  • Monitor sales performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and take proactive action where needed.
  • Work closely with Program Management, Application Engineering, Logistics, and Customer Service to develop effective, customer-focused solutions.
  • Identify evolving customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities and translate these insights into new growth opportunities.
  • Support customer projects, sample coordination, product development initiatives, and awarded business.
  • Contribute to portfolio optimization and the development of customer and market strategies.
  • Take ownership of customer inquiries and escalations, coordinating with internal teams to ensure effective resolution.
  • Provide relevant market insights and commercial feedback to support future business development and strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve sales processes, customer experience, and commercial effectiveness.

What You Bring

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a commercial, business development, or sales environment.
  • Proven confidence in customer-facing situations and business negotiations.
  • Experience with commercial negotiations and contract review.
  • A proactive, independent, and results-oriented approach with a strong drive to develop new business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of customer and internal organizations.
  • A collaborative, transparent, and open-minded working style.
  • Native-level Italian and excellent written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF), interconnect solutions, radio head-end units, automotive cameras, antennas, or harnesses is considered an advantage.
  • Valid Category B driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

What Will Help You Succeed

You will thrive in this role if you enjoy opening doors, building relationships, and creating business rather than simply managing an existing customer portfolio. You are comfortable taking initiative, following opportunities persistently, and balancing customer needs with commercial objectives.

You are also someone who enjoys working internationally and collaborating with technical and commercial colleagues to turn customer challenges into successful solutions.

What We offer

  • SIP bonus
  • hybrid work or home office
  • flexible working hours
  • private healthcare
