Test Automation Engineer

The project is to write a functionality for journalists to report their effort and based on that get paid. The previous solution is outdated and will be replaced. The current user portal, running in Azure with AWS Lambda functions connected to Amazon SQS, will be migrated to MARS. The backend and Lambda functions will be written in Java, and the frontend with JS+React.

Responsibilities:

The role combines both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on automation.

The current UI automation is implemented in Cypress (JavaScript), while API testing is done using Postman collections executed via Newman in the CI/CD pipeline.

One of the expected improvements is to evaluate and potentially consolidate UI and API testing into a single automation framework.
