Test Automation Engineer (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team focused on building a next-generation high-performance Network Switch platform targeting cloud and AI workloads. In this remote role, you will leverage your expertise in Python and network testing to ensure the quality and performance of our innovative solutions.

You will design and implement automation frameworks and network test scenarios to verify cutting-edge hardware and software solutions.

By joining us, you become a member of the Embedded Competence Center at Sii, an internal organizational unit that brings together over 500 specialists from across the country. We are currently working on around 100 projects for 50 clients in various industries, including automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical sectors.

Your tasks

• Testing new generation switch platforms to ensure functionality and performance
• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and strategies
• Documenting test plans, test cases, and test results for quality assurance
• Identifying and troubleshooting issues in network switches and routers
• Implementing network automation solutions to enhance testing efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in a similar position
• Experience in test automation using Python
• Knowledge of network automation frameworks and Linux environments
• Practical experience testing physical and virtual L2/L3 switches and routers
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Ability to work independently, analytical approach, and excellent teamwork skills
• Good spoken and written English (used for daily communication)
• Tax residence in Ukraine is required

Nice-to-have requirements

• Familiarity with C++ programming
• Experience with automation tools such as Vagrant, Ansible, and Docker
• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools
