Test Software Engineer

A large healthcare technology business is looking for a technical leader to oversee quality assurance and automation processes. The successful candidate will drive the evolution of test strategies and lead a dedicated team to ensure the reliability of digital solutions. This role focuses on implementing modern automation environments and mentoring colleagues to maintain high standards throughout the development lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

• Providing functional and organizational leadership for the quality assurance team and test processes.

• Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and modern automation environments.

• Analyzing requirements to create test concepts, including regression and performance testing.

• Collaborating with development teams to identify, document, and prioritize the resolution of defects.

• Presenting quality metrics and recommendations to stakeholders while providing mentorship to team members.

What we're looking for

• Extensive professional experience in quality assurance with a background in team leadership.

• A degree in a STEM field, information technology, or a comparable technical qualification.

• Deep knowledge of modern QA methodologies and proficiency with industry-standard testing and documentation tools.

• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
