The General & Administrative Business Partner - Corporate Operations

Job Description

The General & Administrative Business Partner – Corporate Operations serves as the primary Business Finance partner to HR, Legal, Corp Development, and Technology Office providing financial decision support to CEO Staff functional leaders and their teams. You will partner closely with functional leaders, Finance back-office, and Enterprise Corporate FP&A to shape long-range planning, support critical investment decisions, monthly close activities, and financial reporting.

Core Responsibilities:

• Partner with Functional leaders to serve as a trusted finance advisor, shaping financial priorities, challenging assumptions, evaluating tradeoffs, and recommending actions that improve business and financial outcomes.
• Own the end-to-end planning process for assigned functions, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, transformation initiatives, and pro forma analysis.
• Translate complex business issues into clear financial recommendations for senior executives, including investments and resource optimization.
• Monitor business performance and proactively identify emerging risks, opportunities, forecast gaps, and corrective actions rather than simply reporting results.
• Build a deep understanding of the underlying business and cost drivers and personally work through the financial details required to support sound executive decisions.
• Act as the primary finance partner to the HR, Legal, Technology, and Strategic Corporate Development organizations, supporting senior leaders on strategic, operational, and financial decisions.
• Operate independently in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment, using judgment to move decisions forward when information is incomplete or priorities are competing.
• Develop and improve financial processes and models where needed, with an emphasis on practical decision support.
• Ensure a high level of financial rigor and accuracy, including ownership of month-end activities, forecast integrity, issue resolution, and reconciliation of key financial assumptions.
• Communicate complex financial matters clearly and credibly with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, including the ability to respectfully challenge and influence decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in accounting or finance equivalent
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering, FP&A, strategic finance, or infrastructure finance roles.
• Experience partnering with Senior Business leaders to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions and support operational decision-making across functions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to business strategy and operational drivers.
• Proven ability to lead annual planning, forecasting, investment analysis, and performance management processes.
• Advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with a track record of challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience leveraging data visualization, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, decision support, and business insights.
• Sound knowledge of general accounting principles along with comprehensive experience in budgeting and forecasting models
• Ability to work independently as well on a team

Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $135,840.00 - $254,700.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
