TOSCA Test Engineer

Role Description The TOSCA Test Engineer role at NYGCI is a full-time, hybrid position based in Manila, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using TOSCA for various applications and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing functional tests, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and collaborating with development and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The TOSCA Test Engineer will participate in test planning, contribute to test strategies, and help improve testing processes and standards. This role also involves creating documentation for test scenarios and ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize testing processes.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and techniques to enhance automation efficiency.

Must have and Good to have skills:

TOSCA QA Testers:
• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years of Tricentis TOSCA automation experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts using TOSCA.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
• Experience testing APIs and system integrations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
