We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Tourism Relationship Manager with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, and travel planning.

In this role, you will assist customers in exploring travel options, understanding different destinations and travel products, and finding suitable holidays and travel experiences based on their individual preferences and requirements.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel products, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, city breaks, outdoor activities, themed travel experiences, seasonal travel products, and other travel-related services.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, destination research, travel planning, and learning about different tourism markets, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with travel enquiries and provide relevant travel information.
  • Understand customer preferences, interests, travel dates, budgets, and general requirements.
  • Recommend suitable destinations, travel products, holiday options, accommodation, attractions, and travel experiences.
  • Research different travel options and provide clear and relevant recommendations.
  • Help customers compare suitable travel products based on their needs and preferences.
  • Assist customers throughout the travel planning and decision-making process.
  • Prepare and organise travel information, options, and recommendations for customers.
  • Provide accurate information regarding destinations, travel products, accommodation, activities, and travel arrangements.
  • Respond to customer questions through appropriate communication channels.
  • Follow up with customers regarding travel enquiries, recommendations, and requested information.
  • Assist with booking-related enquiries, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate and organised customer and travel-related records.
  • Review travel product information to ensure recommendations are accurate and up to date.
  • Stay informed about changes to relevant travel products, destinations, seasonal offers, and travel conditions.
  • Communicate with appropriate team members or travel suppliers when additional information or clarification is required.
  • Complete assigned daily tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.
🤝 Customer Service & Travel Planning

The role focuses on helping customers make informed travel decisions while providing a professional and personalised service.

Your work may include helping to:

  • Understand the individual needs and expectations of different travellers.
  • Recommend travel options that match customer interests, preferences, and budgets.
  • Help customers discover destinations and experiences they may not have considered.
  • Present travel information in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
  • Provide alternative travel options when the original choice is unavailable or unsuitable.
  • Support customers during different stages of the travel planning process.
  • Maintain professional communication and build positive customer relationships.
  • Follow up on enquiries and provide additional information when required.
  • Support seasonal travel campaigns and promotional offers where relevant.
  • Help customers understand the features and benefits of different travel products.

The main focus of this position is to provide useful travel guidance, understand customer requirements, and help customers find suitable travel options. The role combines customer service, travel product knowledge, destination research, and travel planning.

Through ongoing participation, you will gain a broader understanding of destinations, travel products, traveller preferences, tourism markets, and the factors that influence customers when choosing their travel options.

📣 Travel Information & Promotional Support

Tourism Relationship Managers may also support travel companies by staying informed about new products, seasonal offers, destinations, and relevant promotional activities.

Your work may include:

  • Keeping up to date with new travel products and destinations.
  • Understanding seasonal travel offers and relevant promotions.
  • Introducing suitable travel products to customers based on their interests.
  • Helping customers discover new destinations and travel experiences.
  • Providing accurate information about promotional travel products.
  • Supporting seasonal travel campaigns when appropriate.
  • Understanding how different travel products are positioned for different customer groups.

This aspect of the role supports the customer experience by ensuring that recommendations are based on current, relevant, and accurate travel information.

💻 Working Arrangement

This is a remote position with flexible working arrangements.

Daily tasks can be completed using a:

Previous experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage, but is not essential:
