As a Traffic Design Engineer, your primary focus will pertain to DOT and municipal roadway improvement projects. Your engineering assignments may include signal and intelligent transportation systems design, Advanced Traffic Management System operations, Active Arterial Management, signal retiming studies, safety studies, signing, pavement marking, work zone traffic control, operational analyses for isolated intersections, complex arterial networks, and freeways.
