Trainee, Asset Management

We are seeking a part-time Asset Manager trainee (about 15-20 hours per week with flexibility) to join our young, energetic and dynamic Real Estate team in Helsinki. Working closely with our team members, you will gain hands-on experience of the leasing, technical and financial management of our residential and commercial property portfolio. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who shares Taaleri’s values and is eager to contribute to our high-performing team. The position will be based in our Helsinki office.

Key responsibilities:

• Updating and reviewing residential and commercial property marketing materials

• Monitoring occupancy rates and leasing performance across the portfolio

• Reviewing rental listings and market data to identify trends and benchmark competitors

• Supporting the collection and analysis of operational and technical property data

• Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting

• Following up on leasing activities, vacant premises, and broker marketing efforts

• Preparing lease-related documentation

• Coordinating with property managers and service providers on operational matters

• Creating analyses and presentations to support portfolio and asset management activities

Key skills for success:

• Preferably at least a second-year university student in real estate, business, economics or engineering

• Any relevant experience in real estate, finance, property management or leasing is beneficial

• Analytical mindset and good Excel skills

• Good communication skills and a proactive, well-organised way of working

• Ability to work independently

• Fluent in Finnish and English

We hope the selected candidate can start as soon as possible, or as mutually agreed. This is a six-month fixed-term position, with the possibility of an extension.
