Company Description Irwin Group specializes in supplying prefabricated PE-lined carbon-steel spools for low-pressure seawater renewal projects across dockyards, land-based plants, and offshore assets. The company’s workflow integrates AutoMET digital-twin survey and dimensional control with spool engineering, precision fabrication, PE lining, external coating, and delivery planning to maximize prefabrication and minimize installation risk. Installation interfaces, service conditions, and project requirements are agreed in advance to support safe, predictable and efficient project execution. Irwin Group has delivered projects such as the Zhoushan DN800 renewal, Türkiye FSRU seawater piping, and Sweden piping conversion, demonstrating experience in complex international scopes. The team encourages early engagement to optimize solutions and welcomes collaboration with partners seeking reliable seawater piping renewals.

Role Description The Trainee AutoMET Pipe Surveyor role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Athens, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The trainee will assist in performing digital-twin pipe surveys using AutoMET tools, capturing accurate field measurements and documenting existing piping systems in dockyards, plants, and offshore-related facilities. Daily tasks include supporting dimensional control activities, organizing survey data, preparing basic survey reports, and coordinating with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure that collected information aligns with design requirements. The role also involves learning to identify installation interfaces, understanding project service conditions, and participating in site visits and safety briefings under supervision. Over time, the trainee will develop competence in survey planning, communication with project stakeholders, and contribution to quality checks before fabrication and installation.
