One of our clients, a growing UK financial planning business, is looking to appoint a Trainee Financial Planner to join their team on a fully remote basis.

The Opportunity

As a Trainee Financial Planner, you will work alongside experienced professionals and gain practical exposure to the financial planning process.

You will develop your knowledge of investments, pensions, protection and financial planning while supporting the team with client administration, research and preparation.

Over time, you will be given increasing responsibility as you develop your technical knowledge, confidence and professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Financial Planners with client cases and financial planning activities
  • Assist with client fact-finding and information gathering
  • Research pensions, investments, protection and financial planning solutions
  • Prepare client documentation and financial planning reports
  • Assist with suitability and recommendation documentation
  • Maintain accurate client records and financial information
  • Support cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis
  • Attend virtual client meetings where appropriate
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams professionally
  • Work towards relevant professional qualifications
  • Continue developing knowledge of UK financial planning and wealth management
