Role Summary
MetaPhase is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to be a part of our team serving the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) through the IT Training and Communications Services (ITaCS) initiative, helping ICE users adopt, understand, and effectively use IT systems while maintaining training content, communications, and performance insights.
The Training Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs tailored to meet organizational needs. This role involves assessing skill gaps, creating instructional products and materials, and ensuring that end users receive effective learning experiences that drive IT user adoption. The Training Specialist will utilize instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies to enhance the overall training experience.
What You Will Be Doing
Design and develop training programs that align with organizational objectives and address identified skill gaps.
Implement and evaluate training initiatives to ensure effectiveness and relevance, making adjustments as necessary based on feedback and assessment results.
Create instructional products and materials, including e-learning modules, user guides, and other resources that facilitate effective learning.
Utilize LMS and e-learning tools to deliver training content and track learner progress.
Ensure that all training materials/products/deliverables are compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards.
Collaborate with the Training Lead or Training Manager to support the overall training strategy and initiatives.
Stay current with best practices in instructional design and adult learning methodologies to continually improve training offerings.
Provide support and guidance to end users, addressing questions and facilitating a positive learning experience.
What We Need From You (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, education, business administration, or related field.
Experience working in an Agile environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in training program execution.
Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
Proficiency in using LMS and e-learning tools to create and deliver training content.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
Bonus Points (Desired)
Federal consulting experience; experience supporting DHS is a strong plus.
Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, time management, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
Work Location
Hybrid - Washington, DC. Remote work with onsite engagement at ICE Headquarters in Washington, DC as requested.
Travel
Potential for in-person training facilitation on occasion

Clearance Level
This position requires the ability to obtain and hold an active Public Trust clearance at a U.S. Government Agency; U.S. Citizenship required. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75-80k
