As a Training Develope r, you'll transform complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible learning experiences that accelerate user adoption of AI, data, analytics, and cloud-based technologies. Working alongside Training Strategists, AI/ML engineers, and client stakeholders, you'll design and develop high-quality instructional content, interactive learning assets, and technical training that support mission-critical public health initiatives. You'll contribute to learning strategy discussions while serving as the technical expert responsible for building scalable, user-centered training solutions that align with evolving program needs. Responsibilities Develop Technical Learning Solutions: Design and develop engaging instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and multimedia learning experiences that translate AI/ML, data engineering, analytics, and software workflows into clear, accessible training for technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate on Training Strategy and Client Engagement: Partner with Training Strategists, clients, and technical stakeholders to identify learning priorities, recommend delivery approaches, and provide instructional design expertise that supports broader training objectives and user adoption. Create Scalable Training Content and Resources: Develop reusable learning assets including eLearning modules, simulations, job aids, videos, assessments, templates, and content libraries that promote consistency, scalability, and long-term knowledge sharing. Partner with Technical Teams to Ensure Content Accuracy: Work closely with engineers and subject matter experts to validate technical content, incorporate system updates, and translate complex workflows into effective learning experiences aligned with program objectives. Manage Training Development and Content Lifecycle: Coordinate training development activities by monitoring project schedules, identifying risks, maintaining version-controlled content repositories, and supporting integration with enterprise learning platforms and knowledge management systems. Deliver Training and Continuously Improve Learning Products: Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions, gather learner feedback and performance data, and continuously refine instructional materials to improve learner engagement, effectiveness, and technology adoption. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in instructional design, technical training development, eLearning production, or workforce enablement Experience with developing technical training for AI/ML, data analytics, cloud technologies, software applications, or other emerging technologies Experience with designing instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and multimedia learning solutions using adult learning principles Experience with collaborating with clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to develop user-centered learning solutions Experience with instructional authoring and multimedia development tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar platforms Experience with translating complex technical processes, workflows, or system functionality into clear, engaging instructional content for diverse audiences Experience with managing multiple training deliverables, priorities, and project timelines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or client-required suitability determination Bachelor's degree Nice if You Have Experience supporting public health, biomedical, federal healthcare, or other mission-critical government programs Experience with learning management systems (LMS), SCORM/xAPI standards, learning analytics, or enterprise learning platforms Experience with multimedia production, video editing, interactive demonstrations, graphics, or animation for technical training Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, data engineering, analytics workflows, cloud technologies, or vector search/RAG-enabled systems Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508), instructional design best practices, and user-centered content development Experience evaluating learner engagement, knowledge retention, and training effectiveness using assessments and performance metrics Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
