Date: Jul 31, 2026 Location: Start your journey with BCD: Grow, connect, collaborate and celebrate with our global team Training Specialist (Hybrid) Full time, Heredia, Costa Rica The Training Specialist is responsible to deliver learning and development programs to reach stated business outcomes, on-time, and on-budget. This position will demonstrate high performance in both business and technical training skills. They can adjust both materials and training techniques to meet the performance needs of the trainees and the business. They are a trusted participant in training initiatives. These learning and development programs are designed, conducted, and managed to equip employees, both new hires and existing employees, with the knowledge and skills to meet their individual performance objectives. As a Training Specialist, you will Conduct live classes (virtual or classroom) to internal customers (travel consultants up to and including managers and peers), with possible requirement to travel Exhibit the components of service excellence, both in their interactions, delivery and in the ability to relate these concepts to course participants Have knowledge and apply commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the travel industry, contact centers, and Learning & Development Work with colleagues and SMEs as a contributor to the instructional design process Review and provide feedback Manage multiple priorities and projects About you Demonstrated competence in training delivery and consultation Skills on GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus Expert, hands-on knowledge of all aspects of the travel reservation process and technology products, including airline GDS Good understanding of the instructional design process (ADDIE) Can facilitate a variety of subjects including soft skills and technical skills across departments Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish What we offer you At BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people.
